Resida is a PropTech, AdTech, and Fintech platform for real estate in Nigeria. It handles property discovery, digital leases, automated rent collection via Dedicated Virtual Accounts (DVA), shortlet bookings, handyman services, and a tenant savings wallet — all in one platform.

## How Resida Works

1. **Tenants** search for properties, book inspections (₦200 pass-through fee), apply for a lease (₦1,000 application fee), and fund a Dedicated Virtual Account (DVA) issued by Paystack via Titan/Wema Bank.
2. **Auto-rent**: Celery Beat runs daily at 00:00. On a tenant's `next_due_date`, the system auto-debits the rent from the tenant's DVA wallet and credits the landlord — no manual payment needed.
3. **Landlords/Agents** list properties, set rent (annual, monthly, quarterly, biannual), approve lease applications, and withdraw earnings (₦150 flat withdrawal fee).
4. **Shortlet guests** book by the night, pay via Paystack, and receive instant confirmation.
5. **Handymen** list skills and rates; tenants and landlords request services; 10% platform fee deducted on job completion.

## Pricing & Fees

- Wallet withdrawal: ₦150 flat fee
- Lease application: ₦1,000
- Shortlet booking commission: 5% of booking value (capped at ₦10,000)
- Event hall booking commission: 8% of booking value
- Handyman job commission: 10% of agreed price
- Inspection fee: ₦200 (pass-through only — zero platform revenue)
- No monthly subscription or SaaS fee for any user

All prices are in Nigerian Naira (₦). Resida is Lagos-first, Nigeria-wide. Payment processor: Paystack (Phase 1). Phase 2 roadmap: direct NIBSS NIP bank integration.
